The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Third Donation Experiment

The Swedish metal band The Project Hate MCMXCIX is doing their third donation campaign in order to fund the recording of their next album. The first two campaigns were a success, so it will be interesting to see if this one makes it as well with a 9000$ goal. The experiment is currently at 5000$ after a strong start but since then it slowed down quite a bit. They hope to have the album ready in mid-to-late 2016.

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Update On New Album

Swedish industrial death metal outfit The Project Hate MCMXCIX have been working on new material which has been penned in for a late 2012 release. Band guitarist, Kentha "Lord K." Philipson, has now issued the following update about it: "It's been a bit silence here as of late but fear not. I am working daily on our next album and it seems like I just put the final touches on the musical side of things for the new material. The past weeks I have been going back and forth within the songs and added stuff that really enhances the stuff at hand. It's been some insane work, to say the least - but now it seems like I am 99% done with the actual music. Some small things might change as we go along, but nothing major."

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Working On New Album

Swedish industrial death metal band The Project Hate MCMXCIX are back in the studio, working on the follow-up to 2010's Bleeding The New Apocalypse (Cum Victriciis In Manibus Armis).

Frontman Lord K. Philipson comments: "Yes, after a few weeks of work the first tune for the next album is completed (meaning I will add tons and tons of small stuff as we go along, but the "real" work is done). I am not going to give away any details but there sure is some stuff in this one that you don't really expect when it comes to TPH, and that says quite a bit.

At the moment the inspiration is flowing endlessly and I have so much stuff to work into songs. Be sure you won't see any 3-minute hits this time either. More like a bunch of 10+ minutes hits, haha... Anyways, this will be a long process before we are ready to record the next masterpiece, but I thought it'd be nice to inform you about everything as we go along - no matter how long it takes.

Stay tuned for more Domination."

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - New Song Available

"Summoning Majestic War", the first single off the new The Project Hate MCMXCIX album Bleeding The New Apocalypse is available for free download at this location (.mp3).

Bleeding The New Apocalypse will be released on February 14th, 2011 via Season Of Mist. More album details are available here.

Frontman Lord K. Philipson comments: "Why have we chosen this particular track to be your first glimpse of the new album? No reason really, we could have chosen any of them since they all absolutely dominate. We just thought it'd be nice to have Leif Edling somewhat introduce you to what we have created this time around. Yeah, Candlemass bassist/everyday legend Leif Edling contributes some spoken words in this track. You can all start applauding now. But not only that. In this tune you'll also get some insanely nice vocals from Christian Älvestam (ex-Scar Symmetry) (who also sang a line or two on our last album).

So, that's a lot of bonus stuff for ya apart from the simple fact that "Summoning Majestic War" is a goddamn phenomenal symphony that represents TPH in every shape, way and form. If you survive these 12+ minutes of pure excellence, pray you'll survive the remaining five tracks on Bleeding The New Apocalypse as well. It will not be an easy task. Domination is a fierce beast. Our work is done - now it's your turn to purchase the album and help us ship a few copies so we will be able to record another masterpiece with a great label such as SOM backing us up.

If you consider yourself a fan of music in general and TPH in particular, and do not absolutely love what we have created in this song, as well as the whole album - you are apparently deaf."

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - New Album Details

Official press release

Industrial death metallers The Project Hate MCMXCIX's new album Bleeding The New Apocalypse (Cum Victriciis In Manibus Armis) will hit the stores on next February 14th (one day later in the US).

Bleeding The New Apocalypse (Cum Victriciis In Manibus Armis) cover art] tracklist:

01. Iesus Nazarenus, Servus Mei
02. They Shall All Be Witnesses
03. A Revelation Of Desecrated Heavens
04. Summoning Majestic War
05. The Serpent Crowning Ritual
06. Bring Forth Purgatory

"So, you have digested the title for a while", mainman Lord K. Philipson comments. "Now it's time for the cover. Artist Marko Saarelainen (who you all should hire to do your artwork or websites by the way) has once again dug deep into his disturbed mind and fired up an incredibly fitting work of art to go with the title. Just look at it, check out all the small details and have the title in mind... Taste it... Bleeding The New Apocalypse (Cum Victriciis In Manibus Armis)... That's what you are in for this time. The darkness of the music on this piece is perfectly reflected in Marko's artwork. There is a slight twist to this cover, perhaps you will see it, perhaps you won't. Just acknowledge the fact that in a bunch of weeks you will have the chance to support The Hate and Season Of Mist by actually buying this masterpiece and go thru the incredibly good looking booklet that comes with it. Marko's outdone himself in that area as well, not just with the cover As Dark Angel once put it... Darkness descends. You are now beginning to watch it, piece by piece."

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Sign With Season Of Mist

Season Of Mist press release

Season of Mist is proud to welcome infamous industrial Death Metal act The Project Hate MCMXCIX to the roster! The Swedes' 6 song, 60+ minute seventh album will be mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö and has been tentatively scheduled for an early 2011 release.

Band leader Lord K. Philipson made the following comment: "Obviously there's a label in this world realizing there's some fucken potential in what we do, being ready to take the risk in today's illegal downloading dilemma, meaning they want to release the next album of The Project Hate MCMXCIX. The fact that there are still record companies around who try their hardest to get the best music out there absolutely astonishes me.

To be able to do this album with a world wide distribution, thru a label who absolutely seem to know what they are doing, feels great. In the little time I have been in touch with the people of this label I have seen more professionalism than during my entire career. That says a lot. We can now concentrate on delivering the best damned recording we have ever done and leave the rest of the business to the record company in question. To be on the same roster as quality bands like Morbid Angel, Watain, Mayhem and Cynic feels great. And to know that this disc will see the physical light of day is exactly how we want it to be. We want the whole package to be more than a thing on your monitor, and hopefully a lot of you guys feel the same - meaning you will buy a real copy of it in these times of digital theft being the new black.

Thank you, Season of Mist - our new label home. And thank you again - Haters, for being unbelievable and for supporting what we do. On behalf of The Project Hate MCMXCIX, I sincerely thank you all. More than I can ever explain."

You can read the full statement on the band's MySpace page.

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - New Album Update

Swedish metallers The Project Hate MCMXCIX have issued the following update:

"Finished up the last tune for the coming album yesterday, as mentioned. Yep, there sure are some Gojira influences in a part, there's no denying that. Great, great band. There's also some old-school death metal influences as well as a dash of Exodus and Candlemass at times. You don't even know what's coming your way with this fucken monster, trust me on that. We have stepped up not only one, but a few notches with this material - that's a fact.

Today I sorted the parts for vocals in the latest tune as well as picking out all the parts in all songs where we will have amazing guitar solos courtesy of the fantastic Mike Wead once again. Now I need to finish up the last lyrics for this final track. Ruby is about to record some more pre-production material for the remaining tracks as well and I can't wait to get those, to say the least. It's so great to hear what she puts into our songs and how much of a difference it really makes compared to our old vocalissas, even though they have done a good job over the years - but Ruby's exactly what I have been looking for all my life it feels like. Outstanding girl. Outstanding. I'm sitting here listening to all the tunes with a huge grin on my face, blasting the tunes fucken loud, much to the delight of my neighbors, I'm sure.

Still no news on the label situation. We had some interest last week, but after that I haven't heard anything from them. They really dug what they heard from The Lustrate Process and all as well, so that's weird. I'm not chasing after them though. If they wanna sign us for this album - they will sign us. If not, well, it is what it is. Fuck it then. Good label though with a great roster. We'll see what happens, I guess. All I care about is composing the best damned material I ever composed in my life - and I am content with that for the time being. What happens - happens."

Lord K. Philipson added: "All of my lyrics are now done and it feels fantastic. Now I'll just work even more on the songs until completion of this beast, as mentioned before. Also, all of Mike Wead's sections for solos (there will be a bunch) have been picked out and sent to him so he can put down his magic starting sometime soon. We'll keep you updated on the label situation and Ruby's pre-productions as we go along. Stay tuned."

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Line-Up Changes

Swedish Industrial Death metallers The Project Hate MCMXCIX have issued the following update:

"It's 2010 and we thought we should start off the new year by making quite a bit of changes. Some might come as a total surprise, some may not. We were never a band who gave a fuck about what other people think anyways. That sounded cool, huh?

First off we wanna thank Jo Enckell for her work with The Project Hate since 2003. She's done a great job on the albums she's been a part of and will always be a huge part of TPH's history. Yes, Ms. Jo is no longer a part of TPH. There are no grudges held or anything, we just feel it's time to enter a new stage in our career. This is what Jo has to say about this: "I'm so happy to have been a part of The Project Hate MCMXCIX, to have been able to participate on four killer albums! This band will always have a special place in my heart. I love you guys and to all the fans - you rule! - Jo"

Many of you will wonder why Jo is relieved of duty after all these years. It's simple - we have done fantastic albums with her since Hate, Dominate, Congregate, Eliminate some 7 years ago, but now we feel it's time to go for another type of vocals when it comes to the female parts. We are looking for something else to further enhance our sound. And we have found it. In fucken Portugal of all places.

Let us introduce Ms. Roque to the fold. A killer chick with an absolutely fantastic voice including range, dynamics and power. Ms. Roque is destined to make her mark in TPH history with the strongest vocals we have ever had. You will have more info on her shortly in case you don't have the strength to Google her yourself. In her own words: "I'm very proud and thankful to be joining TPH, its an honour to be joining forces with such talented musicians. A big thank you to Lord K for believing in me and my "pipes" ! To all the fans of TPH , I promise you guys that I won't let you guys down! I'm very motivated and ready to kick some serious ass!! Truly yours - Ruby"

Welcome Ms. Roque to The Hate. We are extremely happy to have her on board and look forward to work with her for years and years to come.

We are not done yet though... What? We are changing drummer as well? Yes, we are. Thomas Ohlsson (Axenstar), who played on The Lustrate Process and did a great job with it, is also replaced. Why? Well, sometimes the answer is right in front of you, you just forget to look since it's too close. Of course Tobben Gustafsson of Torture Division and Vomitory is the man to be the last piece of the Hate puzzle. It dawned on us some time ago; why the hell isn't one of our fave drummers and best friends playing drums for TPH? We know what this guy is capable of and it's safe to say we'll get the finest drumming of our career with the next album by having Golden T on it. As said before, his nickname isn't fucken Golden for nothing, you know. Here's what Tobben has to say about being the new drummer: "I am very excited to join forces with K and J again, but now in The Project Hate MCMXCIX! From having been not so impressed in the beginning, I have grown to like this band a lot over the years. Their sound is truly unique and it's not the kind of metal I'm used to play, so it will be a big challenge for me to take on this honourable task. It will demand a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and frustration but I know it will all be worth it in the end. Prepare for a masterpiece!"
