Isis - New Single Update
Isis have posted the following message:
"Many of you have been inquiring about the "Holy Tears" single - Due to unforseen manufacturing mishaps the release of the "Holy Tears" single is once again being postponed... however it will be available very very soon. If you somehow managed to get one of the defects, then don't worry the real thing will be available shortly. We will keep you posted.
The contents of the single should be (and will be):
01. Holy Tears (Album Version)
02. Holy Tears (Melvins / Lustmord remix)
03. Holy Tears (Live from Continental Airlines Arena 10.06)
04. Holy Tears Video (Directed by Dominic Hailstone)
Also we have seen the Vinyl box set and it is glorious. Available any day now - more info here!"

I think its kinda lame to release a single with 4 versions of 1 track.. I mean.. Thats just moneyripping.

Especially when it was already on the last album... That said, the versions might be really different, as they sometimes are.

I think it's lamer to release an EP a year after the LP with the exact same songs was already out... Different versions of one song have some sort of difference still. For example on Final Fantasy Crisis Core soundtrack, there are 5 or 6 versions of the main theme and all of them are significant, even though they share the same melody. It's the way it's played out that matters in that case (there were piano, rock, metal and jazz versions of the song f.e.)
