Koritni is famous in France and will even plays on the Hellfest main stage this year? The problem is that the band is unfortunately less known outside of the country and that's a shame! Things must change and I'm sure that "Game Of Fools" will be the x-factor which will change a lot of things. You know what? If you like great Hard Rock and still don't know Lex Koritni and his band mates, you'll have to change things as soon as possible!

Obviously Koritni didn't re-invent Hard Rock but the band is just great to play such music. Right now a lot of people talk about Airbourne and The Answer (and that's cool because both bands are really good) but they shouldn't forget Koritni because they absolutely in the same "winner" category. The difference here is that Koritni is a bit more FM a bit like Aerosmith or Whitesnake. The songs of the new album all have good Rock n Roll riffs, great catchy choruses which will stay in your memory for a long time but also something clearly melodic and "radio" which is not boring or cheesy. I mean that Koritni is not a new AC/DC clone if you see what I mean, they have bluesy songs but not only. "Game Of Fools" is not poor and really varied. You will listen to fast song, mid-tempo ones, happy ones, some a bit more melancholic but always with some classy melodies and this little touch of old school Aerosmith touch which simply rocks? well seriously from the beginning to the end, nothing is disappointing on this album.

But if there is something which cannot be forgotten in this review, this is the voice of Lex Koritni. The guy is just amazing and his bluesy hot voice is just astonishing. Without being wrong I can tell you that we're in front of a fantastic singer, one of the best really and he is not the only "good point" of the band because all the other musicians are perfect too. The guitar soli are perfectly done, the bass is groovy, the drum is solid, no "Game Of Fools" is just a really good album which is also really well recorded by the way.

"Game Of Fools" should be the album which will launch a successful worldwide career for the Australian combo Koritni. If you don't believe me, just have a look at their last release (without forgetting their previous release too) and you'll quickly understand that I'm not wrong. We're in 2009 and some bands still know how to do good old school Hard Rock, that's pretty cool actually, thank to them and thank to Koritni.
