Sean McNabb was born in South Bend, Indiana. At age 21, he became the bass player of the 80s metal band Quiet Riot, replacing Chuck Wright. As a bassist and vocalist, McNabb has worked with House of Lords, Badd Boyz, Great White and Rough Cutt. He also played with various pop artists and has worked on more than 30 albums. In 2007, he rejoined Great White for their 25th Anniversary Tour.

Sean joined Dokken in 2010 and has been a mainstay with the band since. Sean's first taste of being in Dokken came when touring on the LIGHTNING STRIKES AGAIN. Following that successful run, Sean worked with the band in the studio during the recording of their GREATEST HITS (2010) release.

McNabb has resumed his childhood love of acting as well and has recently starred along TV and Broadway greats in two Los Angeles plays. He has appeared in TV and internet commercials and film projects as well. He was on the cover, and was profiled by the Beverly Hills Times as a rising star in the world of acting.

McNabb is also active in the Los Angeles charity scene (including celebrity golf tournaments), appearing in such magazines as Angeleno, and LA Confidential.
