Atrophy - Welcome New Guitarist
Arizona thrashers Atrophy have announced Nathan Montalvo as their new guitarist. In a Facebook comment, the band reveals that Montalvo has already tracked his parts for their long-awaited third album, which will be the first full-length from Atrophy since 1990's Violent By Nature, and it is tentatively due out later this year or next year on their new record label Massacre Records.

Atrophy - From Now On Part Of Massacre Records
Earlier this year, Atrophy vocalist Brian Zimmerman has started writing songs with guitarist Mark Coglan for the band's new studio album. Now, the long-running thrashers announce the signing of a new contract with German label Massacre Records. Before the new music output will be ready for the official release, the label will re-release 1988 Socialized Hate and 1990 Violent By Nature albums on vinyl.

Atrophy - Might Release New Music This Year
Atrophy vocalist Brian Zimmermann recently gave Into The Pit - The Metal Channel an update on the band's long-awaited third album - their first since 1990's Violent By Nature - which has slowly been taking shape for over the last five years. However, things might change sooner, as Zimmermann confirmed that the band has spent much of the pandemic working on the new record, which he said is almost finished and expressed hope that it will finally be released this year.

Atrophy - Working On New Music
American thrash smashers Atrophy just posted some important news. The band was formed back in 1986 under the Heresy name but in 1987 changed it to the current one. They broke up in 1991, but in 2015 came back from the dead and added two guitarists to the team, Casper Garret and Rich Olsen. Three original members, vocalist Brian Zimmerman, bassist James Gulotta and drummer Tim Kelly, are still part of the unit. Now, they are creating new music!
