In a Facebook comment, the band reveals that Montalvo has already tracked his parts for their long-awaited third album, which will be the first full-length from Atrophy since 1990's Violent By Nature, and it is tentatively due out later this year or next year on their new record label Massacre Records.

Now, the long-running thrashers announce the signing of a new contract with German label Massacre Records. Before the new music output will be ready for the official release, the label will re-release 1988 Socialized Hate and 1990 Violent By Nature albums on vinyl.

American thrash smashers Atrophy just posted some important news. The band was formed back in 1986 under the Heresy name but in 1987 changed it to the current one. They broke up in 1991, but in 2015 came back from the dead and added two guitarists to the team, Casper Garret and Rich Olsen. Three original members, vocalist Brian Zimmerman, bassist James Gulotta and drummer Tim Kelly, are still part of the unit. Now, they are creating new music!
