The Swedish post-metal legends Cult Of Luna announced a very special recording titled Years In A Day. The release will contain a 2 hours DVD recorded this year in Paris at La Gaîté Lyrique, 2 live CDs from Roadburn Festival 2013 and 2016 and a high-resolution audio from the Paris show. Everything will be combined in a collector 10" vinyl digipack and strictly limited to 7000 copies.

In terms of live appearances, they have announced 5 exclusive European shows where they will perform Mariner, their collaboration with Julie Christmas, in its entirety. The shows happen in November with Julie Christmas and there are no plans to perform the album live again. Cult Of Luna will be celebrating 10 years of one of their crowning jewels, 2006's classic Somewhere Along The Highway. And they will do that by performing the entire record at Roadburn 2016 in The Netherlands. The band performed at both the 2008 and 2013 editions of Roadburn and are among the most requested bands. Cult Of Luna will be playing the album in full at the 013 venue on Thursday, April 14th, 2016.

Cult Of Luna have announced new shows in North America, scheduled for September this year. The Swedes are going to be sharing the stage with Minsk, Kylesa, SubRosa and InAeona on select dates. Cult Of Luna had announced a three-date North America tour in May, but they cancelled due to visa issues and said the tour would be rescheduled for September. The good news is that the tour has more shows now.
