Epica - Announce Tour With Eluveitie And Scar Symmetry

Epica has been touring extensively to promote their latest album The Quantum Enigma from Europe to South America and that is not about to stop. The symphonic metallers have decided to tour Europe one final time in support of the album. This fall they will hit the road together with Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie. This tour will see Epica headline on the dates in Italy, France and the UK. Epica and Eluveitie will be co-headlining in Germany, Poland and Czech Republic. Swedish progressive melodic death metal band Scar Symmetry will be the opener for all dates for this strong bill.

Eluveitie - Part Ways With Patrick Kistler

Patrick "Päde" Kistler is no longer in Eluveitie. The band just shared the news with "a heavy heart" and while they make no further comment at this time, they wish him all the best for his future endeavours. He was in Eluveitie for six years and four albums playing the bagpipes, whistles, and also acoustic guitars. Meanwhile, multi-instrumentalist Matteo Sisti (Krampus) has stepped in to replace him temporarily on their European tour.

Eluveitie - New Video Launched

Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie have shared their new video for "The Call Of The Mountains", which is the new single from Origins. The song was made available as a digital single on July 25th. Eluveitie - Special New Album Stream Available

Eluveitie have announced a special online stream of their entire forthcoming album Origins, which has already started. The band will be uploading the album track by track starting with the first one. Once each track has received 1000 plays, it will unlock the next track and so on. The more fans share each track with their friends, the faster the album will be unlocked for all to hear in its entirety! So, that seems like a cool idea. The songs are currently streaming here and the first seven songs have been unlocked, as of now. Pretty soon, all of them will be available for you to enjoy.

Eluveitie - Announce Origins North American Tour

The good news just keep coming in for Eluveitie fans. After revealing the first details of their new album Origins, the Swiss band is excited to bring their new Origins World Tour to North America in September/October, and promises to make every single night one to remember. The band will present new material and bring a hand-picked line-up featuring their friends from the Faroe Islands, Týr, and Metsatöll from Estonia.

Eluveitie - Recording New Album, Win Swiss Music Award

Swiss metallers Eluveitie have been awarded one of Switzerland's most prestigious recognitions in music: a Swiss Music Award in the category "Best Live Act National". The decision was made by a highly competitive fan voting, and marks the very first time ever for a metal band to receive this honour. This doesn't happen every day. Eluveitie are currently recording their new album to follow Helvetios.

Eluveitie - Replacement For Meri Announced

Eluveitie recently announced that fiddler Meri Tadic is leaving the band and today you get to see who will be replacing her. It is Nicole Ansperger of Haggard fame. Nicole will join the band on stage for the first time at the upcoming Eluveitie & Friends festival to play an exclusively premiere for this show, a brand new song from Eluveitie's next album.

Eluveitie - Parting Ways With Meri Tadic

After guitarist Simeon "Sime" Koch left the band last year, Eluveitie will face another line-up change. The Swiss folk metallers have just announced that they are parting ways on mutual agreement with longtime fiddle player Meri Tadic at the end of 2013. The Eluveitie & Friends III Festival, which will take place on December 28th, 2013 in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, will be her final appearance with the band.
