Magnum - Bassist Leaves The Band, Replacement Announced

Magnum bass player Alan Barrow has decided to leave the band. He has been finding it increasingly difficult to spend so much time away from home now that he lives in America. Stepping in to his shoes the band are pleased to announce that Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Unisonic) will be joining the gorup ranks. The band is already working hard with him on the upcoming new album, due for early 2020 release.

Magnum - Releasing New Live Album

If you like progressive rock, there's good news today coming from Magnum. There is a new live album on the way. Titled Live At The Symphony Hall, it will hit stores on January 18th, 2019 through SPV/Steamhammer as a 2CD digipak, 3LP gatefold, download and stream.

Magnum - New Album Coming

British progressive rock legends Magnum are about to release a new studio album. Lost On The Road To Eternity has been scheduled for release via SPV GmbH/Steamhammer on the 19th of January 2018 as a digipak version including a bonus live disc, 2LP coloured version, download and stream. Tobias Sammet of Edguy/Avantasia is featured on guest vocals and the release will once again be complemented by Rodney Matthews' atmospheric cover artwork!

Magnum - Former Drummer Passes Away

British progressive rock veterans Magnum announced that former drummer Jimmy Copley has died. In 2005, Jim took up the drum stool for Magnum and he was able to fit in his busy scheduled an album recording with Magnum, Princess Alice And The Broken Arrow.

British prog rockers Magnum are releasing a new live album which was recorded at selected venues from their successful Escape From The Shadow Garden European tour in the spring of 2014. The set list comprises songs chosen from 7 of their 18 studio albums, the band have produced this album so that fans can fully appreciate the songs penned from Magnum's beginning, in the 1970s, right up to the present day.

The effort will be made available as a limited digipak edition with bonus material, as a double colored vinyl LP, standard jewel case CD and download. Magnum - New Album Details Revealed

The new album from UK progressive rockers Magnum is almost finished, it will be titled On The 13th Day and it has been penned in for a September 21st release in Germany, September 24th in the rest of Europe and September 25th in the US/Canada via SPV/Steamhammer Records. A single named "So Let It Rain" is scheduled for an end of August release. In the meantime, the band released an album teaser where vocalist Bob Catley describes the new album.
