Obituary - Mixing New Album, Partner With Relapse Records

Obituary have partnered up with Relapse Records to release the band's new album. The death metallers have completed recording their 9th studio album and first full-length in over five years that will follow Darkest Day. Self-recorded this April by the band at their own RedNeck Studio in Gibsonton, Florida, the group is currently wrapping up the final mixes. The album recording was funded by an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign in late 2013. More details about the album are expected very soon.

Obituary - Announce New Tour Dates

Death metal veterans Obituary will bring their brutal set to the stage this fall on a short series of live assaults. The tour begins with two shows at Brooklyn, New York's Saint Vitus Bar on October 9th and 10th. The band has been holed up in their own Redneck Studios the last few weeks recording the follow-up to 2009's Darkest Day and had the help of fans to fund it with their Kickstarter campaign.
