HIM - Join Razor & Tie Roster, New Album In April

Having parted ways with Sire/Warner Music in 2011, Finnish band HIM (His Infernal Majesty) has joined Razor & Tie's North American label roster. The band has completed work on their forthcoming new studio album, Tears On Tape, which will be released on April 30th on Razor & Tie in North America/Canada and on April 29th on DoubleCross (Cooking Vinyl's specialist rock imprint) in the U.K. and Ireland.

The Sword - Ink Deal With Razor & Tie

US stoner/doom metallers The Sword have announced that they have signed a worldwide deal with Razor & Tie. The band issued the following statement: "The Sword has signed a new, multi-album worldwide deal with New York City based label, Razor & Tie. After releasing three critically acclaimed albums on Kemado Records, the Austin TX based quartet featuring guitarist/vocalist J.D. Cronise, guitarist Kyle Shutt, bassist Bryan Richie, and new drummer Santiago 'Jimmy' Vela III will commence recording their fourth album in late June with a projected release date of fall 2012."

Razorback - details of the new album

RAZORBACK, the new band consisting of Rolf Munkes (guitar, MAJESTY, ex-VANIZE), Stefan Berggren (vocals, ex-COMPANY OF SNAKES), Marcus Bielenberg (bass, ex-VANIZE), Pierre Fienhold (drums, ex-VANIZE) and Chris Heun (guitar, ex-SHYLOCK), have set the tentative track listing for their self-titled debut, tentatively due on March 29 through Massacre Records.
