Since 2013, Italian stoner/doom metallers Ufomammut have been slowly working on a video project which will be released on DVD this October via the band's Supernatural Cat Records. The DVD features over 3 hours of live footage, interviews and outtakes: a documentary about these first15 years of the band called XV and also Magickal Mastery Live, a 12-song live act. Pete Way, the founding and former bassist of UFO, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The release of Way's new album Walking On The Edge has been postponed until early in the new year so he can undergo more treatment, which involves radiotherapy sessions every day for a month to shrink the tumor, as well as hormone medication.

The Italian band Ufommamut has signed a deal for their upcoming album with Neurot Recordings.

This is what Neurot owner Steve Von Till had to say about the signing: "Welcome Ufomammut to the Neurot family. Ufomammut is our kind of band. These sonic brothers from Italy are heavy, psychedelic, and driven. We couldn't be happier than to have them working with Neurot Recordings for their next full-length album. Though we have been fans of their music for a while, being able to meet them and share the stage with them on our recent trip to Europe was awesome. We formed a great and meaningful bond, which of course is the most important aspect of what we do. The first limited edition of Lucifer Songs is out of stock. A reprinting will be out mid-April. It'll have a white cover with silver inscriptions, CD will feature 6 songs (Blind, Hellcore, Hypnotized, Mars And Astrodronaut And Lucifer Song) and DVD will have a soundscapes section, the entire album by visuals.

Ufomammut will be touring Europe in April for a few gigs supporting Lucifer Songs. All the dates will be announced soon. On the 22nd of April the band will play at roadburn festival in Holland, then UK and some gigs in Germany.
