Rush - New Single Available For Streaming

"Headlong Flight", the new single from legendary Canadian progressive rock band Rush, is currently streaming at this location. The single will be released digitally on April 24th. Pantera - Unveil Artwork For Unreleased Song

As previously announced, US groove thrash metal legends Pantera will premiere the video for the unreleased song "Piss" from the Vulgar sessions today on the Revolver Golden Gods Awards ceremony. The band has now revealed the cover art for the single Piss, which will be available on iTunes on April 12th. The song will also be included on the 20th Anniversary CD/DVD Deluxe Edition of Vulgar Display Of Power, which hits stores on May 15th.

Sabaton - New Song Streaming Online

Swedish heavy/power metallers Sabaton have announced via their official website that the band's new album title track "Carolus Rex" is now available for streaming. You can listen to it on the video below, which features the dates on the Swedish Empire Tour 2012. The song is the Swedish version of the first single off Carolus Rex, to be released on May 25th via Nuclear Blast and is already available on iTunes. Quiet Riot - New Singer Announced

US hard-rockers Quiet Riot have announced via Facebook that Scott Vokoun is the band's new singer.

The band issued the following statement: "I spoke several weeks ago with my friend and vocalist Keith St. John to once again thank him for lending his talents to Quiet Riot during our time of need. Keith stepped in on very short notice so that Quiet Riot could meet our live dates in February. Keith knocked it out of the park with great vocals and performances and we are forever in his debt. Quiet Riot takes this opportunity to introduce our new vocalist Scott Vokoun and we look forward to seeing all of you on tour!"

Dokken - New Album Title Revealed

According to an online post by the moderator of the official forum of US heavy metallers Dokken, the title of the band's upcoming album will be Broken Bones and it is planned to be released in May/June this year. The new album will be released via Frontiers Records.

Vocalist Don Dokken also told Bravewords: "We started tracking on Monday. The new Dokken CD will be called Broken Bones."

Queensrÿche - Confirmed For M3 Rock Festival 2012

US progressive metallers Queensrÿche have been confirmed for the 2012 edition of the M3 Rock Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. For the first time, M3 fans won't have to choose between bands with overlapping set times, since each band will play one at a time. Also, the festival will take place on two separate stages, giving fans the option to stay in one seat and watch all the bands as they appear on both stages, or fans can move from stage to stage without missing a note.

DragonForce - New Album Details Revealed

British power metallers DragonForce revealed on their official website details about the band's upcoming album. It will be titled The Power Within and will be released in the UK on April 15th via the band's own Electric Generation Recordings, distributed by Essential Music (UK), Roadrunner Records (North America), 3Wise (Australia) and JVC Victor (Japan). The Power Within is their fifth full-length studio album and the first with the new singer Marc Hudson.

Choice Of Weapon is due to be released on May 22nd through the band's new label Cooking Vinyl. The album was co-produced by Chris Goss and Bob Rock.
