Betraying The Martyrs - Introduce New Vocalist, Share New Song
Betraying The Martyrs are excited and proud to present you the new single, "Black Hole", alongside talented new singer Rui Martins. The latter is replacing long-time vocalist Aaron Matts. The six-piece confirmed that they will enter the studio in November to record new material. In addition to all the new info, Betraying The Martyrs are also pleased to announce the worldwide signing with Out Of Line Music.
Statement from the band as follows: "Dear BTM fans, friends and followers. If you've been following us, you know that those last 2 years have been incredibly challenging for our band. After having all our gear and personal belongings burnt in a trailer incident followed by a global pandemic right after our last album's release as well as Aaron's departure from the band a few months ago. We felt down. Many would have decided to call it a day, and we wouldn't have blamed them for it.
"We asked ourselves for weeks, locked in our homes, doubting, if we had the strength to keep moving forward. If we still had that flame. If it was still possible to overcome such tremendous difficulties.
"Deep down, we already knew the answer. Writing Music and touring the world has always been our dream, our priority, what forged our Lives path, and we've always felt incredibly lucky to be able to do that for a living. We do not take it for granted.
"We're extremely excited and proud to present you our brand new single "Black Hole" alongside our incredibly talented new singer Rui Martins.
"Rui is the most down to earth, hard working, truly gifted vocalist we've ever had the chance to work with. His ideas, creative directions and fresh inputs has brought us the exact renewed energy we were looking for, and it's been a phenomenal experience writing together for the past few months. We already have A LOT of material written and we're pleased to tell all of you that we will enter the studio this November!
"On one last note, we're VERY excited to officially announce we signed a new worldwide deal with Out Of Line Music. We love the relationship we're building with them, they've been day-one fans of our band and it's a real pleasure to be able to work with such passionate people alongside incredible bands such as our friends in Ten56, Novelists, Being As An Ocean, Ashen and many others to come.
