The Vision Bleak - Drop New Single

German horror metal poets The Vision Bleak release another excerpt from their upcoming one-track album Weird Tales , due out on April 12. Check out a music video for "Chapter II: In Rue D'auseil" song.

Mastermind Markus Stock aka Ulf Theodor Schwadorf comments: "Here’s the second excerpt from our one-track opus of darkness and grandeur entitled Weird Tales. This one is a prime model of a classic weird tale and at the same time musically as much The Vision Bleak as it gets. It was one of the first themes written for ‘Weird Tales’ and is catchy, dark and danceable all the same. Gothic in its true sense with a slight 80s vibe due to the usage of analog synthesizers. Based around Lovecraft’s ‘The Music of Erich Zann’ short story in which the violinist Erich Zann lets his instrument squeal and scream in a terror-stricken and dreadful orgy of dissonance and in haunting, unearthly melodies. A cacophony of horror. And with these sounds he is creating a portal to a cosmic void. A formless, lightless but sound-filled endless nothingness forms outside of his room's window ready to swallow everything. Oliver König and Klara Bachmaier of Mbience Visuals created some fantastic images to this chapter of ‘Weird Tales’ that sit well with the story and evoke with a beautiful ambience the great horror tale of yesteryears."

I liked it, but way too damn short. Just as I was getting into it, it ends.
