And since I moved to the south I finally can see them as well... It's easier to go to DK than stockholm XP

Rammstein is my favorite German band so to me all their songs, albums are great. Theres no other German band better.

I fail to understand why some people consider Reise, Reise a disappointment, yet they love Mutter. Really people Mutter and Reise, Reise are identical in approach, so why the dislike for Reise, Reise? I think they are both okay albums, both have some nice tracks(Reise, Reise, Moskau, Keine lust, Sonne, Feur Frei, Links 234) and some shitty ones(Mutter, Adios, Nebel, Los, Ohne Dich, Amour).

I'm not really impressed by the clips I've heard of "Pussy" and I was particularly disappointed by the use of English. I thought "Stripped" was prove enough that they should stick to German. My hopes for the new album as a whole are still quite high though

As far as I know now... it's only on that song that they sing in english.

Hey Guys!, I just ended reading a track by track review from Metal Hammer, not very objective but some things they wrote gives me a bit of the hope I lost back. Interesting things like the riffs being very heavy in the vein of songs like Sonne or even Feuer Frei! One more thing I found good [but also quite frightening] is that the album seems to be very varied as it has lots of different kinds of songs. Maybe it would be a hit or miss.

It's in spanish but I'm gonna translate most of the stuff:

1. Rammlied - A dramatic and kind of operatic entry, gives place to epic guitar acords and powerful drums with monstrous riffs. The song also has some touches of oriental influences that leads to a rhythmic ending.

2. Ich Tu Dir Weh - Electronic Music... An intense introduction and after that you hear drums and riffs in the vein of the song "Mein Teil". And even some acustic guitars that remains us of the song "Los". Shredded voices, a hell of distortioned riffs and drums all over the place.

3. Waidmann's Heil - Things are getting interesting now. Horns that sounds like if the Cavalry is about to be here, followed by riffs that remains us of Ministry and also Rammstein's famous song "Feuer Frei!". There's a huge beat, almost kind of hip-hop before the chorus of the song, and a section that sounds like the heavy part of the song One by Metallica but twice as fast, it kicks ass!

4. Haifisch - You might find this difficult to believe, but "Haifisch" sounds exactly like Depeche Mode to lots of people. Imagine Rammstein doing their own "Personal Jesus" with a very powerful and loud drums along with electronic sounds everywhere

5. B****** - The biggest riff from the album by far. We're talking about an atomic bomb, a riff that can match even Sonne. It's dirty, not fancy and very sinister.

6. Fruehling In Paris - The msot radical song from the album. An acustic track with a break-beat drums [that sounds like the song "You're not alone" by Olive] and a french voice in the chorus. The sounds seems to came from a mad house full of sick people with two heads...

7. Weiner Blut - This track is about the Fritzl case. The heaviest song in the album. Till stars with a melancolic intro, while we all now that he's ready to explote. A very scary "...Willkommen" and Hell explotes.

8. Pussy - C'mon ! You already know what this is going to be about! Is Rammstein in their best ironic ways. It has a chorus in the vein of Amerika.

9. Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da - With oppresive tempo changes in the riffs and with furious explotions in the drums, "Liebe ist für alle da" is like a train going fast. It's like Punk Rock but with Rammsteins structures.

10. Mehr - An electronic intro that sounds like "Shouts" by Tears Of Fears along with Till's tipical sinister voice. Some tempo changes that appears out of nowhere.

11. Roter Sand - Rammstein ends the album with only Till's special vocals with an acustic guitarr. The biggest thing here is when suddenly Till strats to whistle and tremble, that leads to an epic ending of an album that could probably be the most varied album done by the band.



I'm actually... getting more excited than before!

Yeah... there are some interesting points in some of the songs. I hope that they will be as good as the review says.

Ok about the new videoclip:

the music - the sound is "typically Rammstein" i would say (at least their "typical recent work", i dont know their old stuff that much)...but it doesnt fit to them to sing in English...it sounds ridiculous...the lyrics are a bit controversial, but why not

the video - well...at least it is not Man Gegen Man again, THAT was disgusting...but this time it is more explicit and though there are really fast cuts, so you cannot focus well and really see details, it is nothing but pure porn starting with foreplay and stripping, continuing through intercourse and ending appropriately with a cumshot...

my comment about it - if you seek for porn, there are tons of options in the internet and stay away from this...if you are puritan, dont even say the name of this vid loudly...it you dont believe and wanna to check and find out, then check it, but once would be enough for you...

Imo it's a very cheesy and funny video, sure it's overdone but it takes some courage to do that stuff and pass it off as a genuine video, i'm sure we'll never see it on tv though. the music is equally cheesy and funny imo, i like how the chorus sounds like some kind of drunk italian dude trying to pick up girls hahaha... the instrumentation is a bit too "typical new Rammstein" but it's passable.


anyway it's not like R+ is known to sing and make videos about pink bunnies and flowers.

Well ok, pussy is a funny and cheesy video as mentioned above but it's not for Rammstein. I expected something ....I don't know how to say it...more artistic maybe from them. Ok the music is good (classical rammstein sound) but the lyrics are pitiful. Unless I'm missing the deeper meaning of them. But "I can't get laid in Germany"???? I don't know, maybe our german friends can enlighten us.Though I had a feeling they would bring something like this up eventually. I'm a bit dissapointed. Well we'll see the full album when it comes out and then we'll have a complete image of how they evolved. Until then....
