I'm looking for bands like Death in June, Current 93,... They are neofolk, really atmospheric with a bizarre touch. Any recommendations?

Depends on the song , it's a mix between french , catalan (spanish dialect) and occitan , which is a dialect from south of France . I can only recommend to check more Hagalaz Runedance , The Winds that Sang of Midgard's Fate is an extraordinaire album . And if you like Stille Volke , maybe you will be interested in Hantaoma , which is essentialy the guys from Stille Volke doing folk metal. It's strange , just before I saw your post , a friend of mine sent me some QNTAL , good stuff , I shall dig deeper .

What ends when the symbol shatter is an excelent album by Death in June . For OF The Wand and The Moon try Lucifer or Emptiness:Emptiness:Emptiness . I don't know the others

Yup Nest! The Split with Agalloch is stunning. They have a new album coming out real soon on Corvus Records. There will be alimited edition of that album with bonus material.

Great recommendations, that Looking for Europe box is amazing and essential.
Others I have is Belborn, Rose Rovine e Amanti, Waldteufel, Sagentoeter and Argine. I second that Forseti mention as well.

Another aspect I love about neofolk bands is the detail they have on their album packaging - Forseti and Sagentoeter have beautiful cases.

I never said agalloch was Neo Folk. I talked about the split with Nest. Nest is dark ambient with kantele ( a traditional instrument). And on that split, Agalloch play a song similar to what nest do. Get your facts straight.

I like Tenhi - you could try "Maaäet" or "Kauan" albums. Last Empyrium's album "Weiland" is brilliant. I recommend you also a russian band Kauan - they have two albums and both are very good.

They've already been mentioned, but I'll say it again:

Nest

These guys are incredible! Both albums are pure masterpieces! I think I started a thread about them here a while back.

Another good band to check out is Faun.

very nice pics...I miss Werkraum, Kratong and Paul Roland, but i do like all the rest.
I'd add on a more neoclassical flavour:
Argine,
Inner Glory
Neutral (beware there is a ominous electro band)
While angels watch
Sieben
Ashram

Some artists I don't think have been mentioned:

Vàli - Only one album so far, 2004's "Forlatt", but this is definitely my favorite neofolk album. It's all instrumental and to put it simply: beautiful.

Weh - If you're a Windir fan, you may know this artist for his cover of "Likbør", which itself is maybe the most astonishing song ever. The acoustic version by Weh on "Valfar, Ein Windir" is something to behold as well. His original material is also very good, and can be downloaded for free from his webstie here
