Well we easily overplayed France in first two periods...but we lost concentration in third after leading 5:0 and let them score goals...our play in third was awful, but when the opponent is absolutely lame, it is easy to understand...we scored 3 PP goals, which is quite good score...3 goals were by defense men from blue line...

Omg, omg. I couldn't stay silent - it's 0:6 in the game between Latvia and Canada but we still have the third period... we're so screwed.

I like the game itself, though. it has its funny moments and it's very rough. lots of penalties.. at least for Latvians. I already miss Ivanāns; my new fav is Sprukts because at least he can deal with others painful enough and within the rules.

they don't actually think like that, they just hope and stay positive. if you were at Līvu square during a hockey game you'd see how many positive people there are besides all other foreigners that come just to see the city and how good is the atmosphere there - beer everywhere, large tv screens with hockey, just fantastic and it doesn;t matter we have no real chance to win that game but the excitement is huuuge. when there are world championships in hockey, Latvians finally wake up ad I find it fantastic whether the results are good or not.

btw, what was interesting during yesterday's game is that they played Bryan Adams's songs for a few times. probably cuz he's Canadian....

Ragana ac/dc songs in this WC is ok and well I hate watch hockey in sucxh places, arena or home I like it more hehe

I'd say this game in general was much slower and more lazy than those two before this so when we got some goals the guys just thought that's it - we've won, but the hell we didn't. anyhow, the result is good and everyone's happy.

Suprise, I dont think so, because both are same style teams, play fast, shooting, power play, Suisse is typicxal Canadain style team and if such meet some times its easyer for weeker team and Suisse is not so week, its be suprise if Suisse won in 1/4
