So Called "bad" Albums I Enjoy I was thinking of a title that could attract people but failed miserably. This is a list of albums that are often disliked, albums people find disappointing or bad but nevertheless albums I enjoy. I will also list albums I think are low rated or underappreciated, albums I think deserve(d) a better fate.

One-Hit Albums A (most probably incomplete) list of albums on which I really enjoy only a single song (in alphabetical order, excluding one-track albums).
They turn out to be albums that I rate a 6 or 7 overall -- with few exceptions. The songs mentioned though are all-time favourites, which I would rate at 9 or 10. I only listed albums on which I found exactly one such song.

Top 20: My Favourite 'bad' Albums List of albums that are often considered to be 'bad' (or at least not that good) however I can't agree with that opinions. This list also could be entitled: the most underrated albums of popular bands.
1. Alphabetic order 2. Only albums with rating less than 8

Metal At The End Of The 70’s 78-79 Most significant records at the end of the first era of metal music.
The last year of the decade shows how some bands face the eighties with the menace of punk and disco music some bands take advantage of that like Kiss sounds more pop other like Motörhead goes harder, Judas Priest finish those years as a leaders of the Euro HM. Rush made their last epic record, Ronnie James Dio leave Rainbow, Black Sabbath made their last record with Ozzy and AC/DC lost Bon Scott. Saxon maybe starts in what became in the NWOBHM and lots of new bands emerged like Riot with their frenetic heavy metal, Van Halen made the first couple of self titled records with a new sound based on the virtuosity of Eddie Van Halen.

Mixed Discography Ranking - Maiden, Priest, And Sabbath This is the most unquestionably difficult ranking I could undertake. The # of albums I consider borderline flawless from each of these bands is ridiculous. Over a dozen albums from these 3 bands have legitimate arguments to be considered the greatest traditional heavy metal album of all time.
I have a few rankings that are likely hot takes here ** Yes, I like Dance of Death more than most folks. Title track and Paschendale are both top 10 Maiden songs, and Montsegur is only a small step behind that. Those 3 songs are better than anything on Brave New World to me, but the rest of BNW is better and higher quality. ** Yes I kinda like Turbo. It's silly but it's fun and the guitar work and Rob's vocals are absolutely stellar. That kinda sucks about Ram It Down, it's got some of Priests' best lead guitar work and I don't think Rob ever sounded better, but dear lord, some of those songs... As for the top 6 albums here, honestly put them in whatever order you want. They're that close to me and mood depending it could change

Favorite Black Sabbath Albums This is my complete favorite list of Sabbath albums. Yes, it might be a little bit controversial due to the fact that I appreciate a little bit more the Tony Martin works (hence, Headless Cross is my no.1 favorite), but I strongly believe that the later Sabbath catalogue is very underrated and underapreciated. I do not get even up until today the whole Ozzy hype since stuff like Vol. 4 or Sabotage were just boring and even the other albums weren't that great either (except a couple of songs). In my opinion, the Dio and Martin years (well maybe except for Forbidden) are the best years for Sabbath. If I were to rank the best vocalists this band had, Ronnie James Dio will take the crown with Tony Martin close by while Ozzy would be only the 3rd in my rankings.

InstruMEnTAL Metal Songs This is an alphabetical list dedicated for the celebration of great instrumental songs that have been included by vocal groups as original contribution to an album. Therefore, this list does not include instrumental-based groups like Apocalyptica, songs that have a significant part with spoken words / human voices or instrumental versions of vocal songs or other bonus material.
