My Dying Bride - New Album Update

My Dying Bride have posted a brief update on their Facebook page regarding their new album's progress. Earlier this year, the doom metallers joined the Nuclear Blast Records label for the release of their new record and Feel The Misery's successor. Also, drummer Shaun "Winter" has returned for the new album and all future live shows.

Roadburn 2017 - My Dying Bride To Play Special Set And Much More

A new announcement was made today by the organizers of Roadburn Festival 2017 and it includes many new confirmations for the unique Dutch festival. Doom luminaries My Dying Bride will play a special set next year focusing on old material from Turn Loose The Swans, As The Flower Withers and The Angel And The Dark River. Wolves In The Throne Room, Sumac, Oxbow, Unearthly Trance, Grief, Bolt Thrower's Karl Willetts Memoriam, Ash Borer, Emma Ruth Rundle (Marriages), Hypnopazūzu, Valborg and many more will also perform live at the fest.

My Dying Bride - Announce Special Book/Disc Set

Doomsters My Dying Bride are marking their 25th anniversary with a special release. The group released their debut album, As The Flower Withers, on Peaceville Records back in 1992. Their next release will be A Harvest Of Dread, a limited edition deluxe hard book featuring a 92 page book written by Greg Moffitt chronicling the rise of the long-standing genre leaders from their beginnings in West Yorkshire, UK, through their ascension towards becoming one of the UK's primary metal forces, along with a look into why and how their creative vision and attitude has been so unwavering over the years.

My Dying Bride - Hamish Glencross Leaves, Calvin Robertshaw Rejoins

My Dying Bride have announced a change in their line-up. The band split with long-time guitarist Hamish Hamilton Glencross and also confirmed the return of original guitarist Calvin Robertshaw to the fold. The reasons for Hamish's departure were described as "irreconcilable differences" but the British metallers still wish him all the luck with his future endeavours. Also, in case you are wondering, the band already has 7 songs written for their new album and the plan is to record it later this year.
