Ensiferum have posted the following announcement directed at their Russian fans:
"Petri Lindroos is not able to perform at our shows in Russia due to serious illness. We all hope for speedy recovery for him in coming weeks. Cancellation was not an option to us because we dont want to let you guys down and possible new dates would have been far in future. Luckily we were able to get ex-member Jukka-Pekka Miettinen to play guitar for these shows and vocals will be growled by Sami Hinkka.
We are truly looking forward for these special shows and the evening will be a blast with you guys! See you in Moscow and St. Petersburg!"

Ensiferum - Album Release Pushed Back
"Dear fans!
Due to contractual obligations, promotional deadlines and manufacturing delays, we have been forced to move the release of "Victory Songs" to the 20th of April 2007!
This is very unfortunate, and we're very sorry about the delay, but there's not much that we or our record companies can do to make this album hit the stores any earlier. If we could, we certainly would because we know that all of you are eager to get a listen to the new songs!
Despite this time-taking trouble, it's going to be one killer of an album and we hope that you will have the patience to wait just a little longer!
Wishing you all the best,
Ensiferum"
