Initially scheduled to be released on March 4th on Candlelight Records, the new album from Norwegians Ihsahn has been postponed to April 8th. Arktis will be Ihsahn's 6th studio album. No official explanation was given for the delay but recently Candlelight Records have sold the company's assets to Spinefarm Records, so it could be related to that.

The yet untitled new album is currently in the hands of Jens Bogren and will soon be on its way to Candelight Records. Ritxi Ostáriz is taking care of the artwork.
