Metallica have revealed in recent news that frontman James Hetfield has re-entered a treatment program as he continues to struggle with addiction issues. Metallica - Announce European Tour With Ghost

Metallica are returning to Europe after their tour earlier this year. In support of their latest album, Hardwired... To Self-Destruct, the band returns to European stadiums next year with Ghost and Bokassa. Tickets on sale this Friday, September 28th at 10 AM local time with Fan Club presales beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, September 25th.

Metallica - Receive Polar Music Prize, Ghost And Candlemass Members Perform

The iconic metal band Metallica has received Sweden's prestigious Polar Music Prize. In a ceremony broadcast live on Swedish national television, Metallica's Lars Ulrich and Roberto Trujillo along with fellow laureate Afghanistan National Institute of Music (ANIM) and Dr. Ahmad Sarmast, accepted the award at the Konserthuset in Stockholm, Sweden from His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. Metallica - Unveil 1986 Live Version Of 'For Whom The Bell Tolls'

Back to the 80s. The iconic Metallica will release a deluxe box set and 3-CD expanded edition of their classic album, Master Of Puppets. Metallica - Man Arrested For Urinating On Family During Concert

Now, this is pissy. As you may know, Metallica are currently touring in North America showcasing their current album, Hardwired... To Self-Destruct. It was supposed to be a fun night. However, a New Mexico man was arrested for allegedly urinating on a family at their concert last Friday night in Glendale, Arizona. Daniel Francis Daddio, of Albuquerque, is suspected of peeing on a family of three, including a ten-year-old girl, during the show, according to court records. Don't forget to use the bathroom before a concert, kids!

Metallica - Announce Facebook Live Event 'Now That We're Live'

Metallica's North American tour kicks off on Monday, May 10th in Baltimore in support of their album, Hardwired? To Self-Destruct. Korn - Recruit Metallica Bassist's Son For South American Tour

On their next South American tour, Korn's bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu won't be on stage with the band, due to "unforeseen circumstances". However, the band will be joined by a special guest. Filling in for bass duties will be Tye Trujillo, the 12-year old son of Metallica's Robert Trujillo and member of the group The Helmets. Like father, like son.

Metallica - Announce European Tour Dates

Metallica have announced that their WorldWired Tour is going to hit European arenas starting this September and will last until May of 2018. It is due to kick off on September 4th in Amsterdam, following the rescheduled Copenhagen show on September 2nd. Norwegian blackened hardcore punks Kvelertak will be the supporting act for the duration of the European part of the tour. The band has made clear that no additional shows will be added in this part of the world in the immediate future.

Metallica - Postpone Tonight's Copenhagen Show, Hetfield On Vocal Rest

Metallica's string of shows in Denmark isn't exactly going according to plan. The band was forced to abbreviate their set on February 3rd in Copenhagen after frontman James Hetfield said he was ill and they now postpone tonight's show in Denmark because the singer has been put on vocal rest. The metallers still have two shows at the Royal Arena on the 7th and 9th of February and promise to give updates on that soon.

Metallica - To Perform At Grammy Awards

Metallica are among the nominees for "Best Rock Song" with "Hardwired" at the 59th annual Grammy Awards. But the metallers will also perform at the event. The last time Metallica performed at the Grammy Awards, they played the song "One" and were joined on stage by Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang. Now they promise something special once again.

Metallica are releasing videos for all tracks on their upcoming new album, Hardwired...To Self-Destruct. Since it is a double album, you will get 13 videos, leading up to the album's release tomorrow. That's a lot of videos! Well, the band has started premiering them yesterday every two hours and the last one, "Lords Of Summer" (bonus track), just premiered as well. The clips were created in several different locations around the globe.

Metallica - Announce Special Live Performances, To Livestream London Gig

As you know, Metallica's new double album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct, is about to hit the streets (November 18th) and the band has planned a special performance to mark its release. On Friday, they celebrate it with an intimate performance at the House of Vans in London, England for Fifth Members and lucky winners of the Vans ticket contest.
