Michael Romeo - Sign To Inside Out Music, Announce Album Release

Inside Out Music is pleased to announce the signing of legendary Symphony X guitarist Michael Romeo, for the release of his upcoming full length War Of The Worlds, Part II. The follow-up to 2018's War Of The Worlds, Part 1 will be released on February 4th, 2022. Additional details coming soon.

For WOTW2, Romeo welcomed a couple of returning players - drummer John Macaluso and bassist John "JD" DeServio - but the album marks the first time he worked with Croatian singer Dino Jelusick.

Probably It'll be great, but I liked the singer from part 1 better...

Agreed. I'm not into these Jörn Lande type of singers. He's an amazing talent, but its just no my type. The music is great though.

... But where's the new Symphony X record? I need V, Part II - now!

Funny thing about the singer, this one is rather in my ballpark than the previous guy.

They're not that different, raspy yet melodic, but I can't stand Dino, has zero vocal mobility, just like the new Firewind guy (sorry too lazy to check the name).

I like his tone better. The other guy seemed a little suffocated/thwarted on his rasps and not as full. But yeah maybe he'll get stuck on the same tone with no variety, which will make it bland... I guess we got no Russell Allens running around :/

Yeah, agreed, I rather the other singer. Why use a Russell Allen-sound alike. The other singer was higher pitched, making it a little different from Symphony X material, like from their debut album from 1994.
