Ozzy Osbourne - To Record New Album In 2024
Despite having announced earlier this year that his touring days were over due to health issues, Ozzy Osborune is not slowing down. In fact, the former Black Sabbath singer stated in a new interview with Metal Hammer that he is planning to record and release the follow-up to last year's Patient Number 9 in 2024.
Osbourne himself said: "I'm getting myself fit. I've done two albums fairly recently [2020's Ordinary Man and 2022's Patient Number 9, both produced by Andrew Watt], but I want to do one more album and then go back on the road."
Ozzy also said that he hopes to reunite with Watt on his new record, which will be tracked at his home studio in the UK: "I'm just starting to work on it now, and we'll be recording in the early part of next year. I want to take my time with this one."

Unlike Ordinary Man, Patient Number 9 was actually quite good. Maybe he’ll pull out another winner. On a semi-related note I’ve been watching reruns of Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour and holy moly that show is so entertaining. Waaaayy better than The Osbournes ever was.

I dont think so....maybe farewell concert in Birmingham where it all begin in industrial days when steel industry was running and British men drunk stout , work hard and went to football in force.

A glaring contradiction in the report in that he apparently announced earlier this year that his touring days were over and then said recently that he wants to do one more album and then "go back on the road"!!??

Ozzy has announced retirement several times throughout the years. Nobody believes him anymore.  New album next year?! He'll be 76. Good for him I guess.

Written by Bad English on 29.09.2023 at 12:28 He deserves a break if you ask me, but if he wants to do it, than good for him. Genesis did a tour recently with a frail Phil Collins sitting in a chair because of serious back problems. And Phil is 3 years younger than Ozzy.

Written by Bad English on 29.09.2023 at 12:48 People that made music in the 70s and 80s are getting old sadly. Al Di Meola had a heart attack on stage a few days ago. Some vocalists cannot deliver a good performance anymore, or their vocals have deteriorated. It's no surprise concerts are being cancelled for health issues.
