Vocalist Vincent Schulte, guitarist Edwin Haan and keyboardist Sean Lubbersen have left the Dutch progressive metal band Xeno. The band recruited new guitarist Benjamin van Geest and are looking for a new (clean) vocalist.

In words of the band: "Hey everyone, we come with important news from the band. With great sadness, we announce the departure of Edwin, Sean, and Vincent from Xeno. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to work together with these talented musicians for the last couple of years and deeply regret their departures. We wish the guys nothing but the best and are looking forward to performing the last few shows together. However, we are happy to announce we’ve found the perfect replacement for guitars in Benjamin van Geest and are very much looking forward to our musical collaboration! We are still looking for a new (clean) vocalist; get in touch with us if you’re interested!"

Edwin: "Xeno has been a huge part of my life for these past years and, as my first serious band, has been catalytic for some of the most important decisions that make me the person/musician I am today. I am extremely grateful for the love, dedication, respect, loyalty and happiness this brotherhood has brought to my life: and it is with mixed feelings that I now have to say goodbye to it. My heart's compass has been pointing in a different direction for a while now, and as a being of emotions I cannot ignore this pull. I want to thank and once more express my respect and love for everyone involved in this project: you've all been awesome, and will forever have a special place in my heart.”

Sean: "I want to give a big heartfelt thanks to all who supported us and came to our shows. In a time where I was struggling with chronic pain the most, it really helped brighten those days. I’m also very proud of what we accomplished together and I will hold these memories close to heart. Even though these changes can be bittersweet, I still have a lot of faith in Xeno and look forward to all the great things they will accomplish. Thanks for everything, I will always support and love you guys.”

Vincent: "Although I have been part of this band for a short time, it has been such a fun journey. It has been my first heavy band ever and the boys really showed me the ropes. Through every rehearsal I became more and more comfortable and they helped me get there. In this short period of a time we have done some amazing work together with Vestrock as a milestone. I have enjoyed everything about this journey but now I will go on a different journey. I wish everyone so much fun in their future endeavours and hope we will join the stage once again. Thanks everyone!”
