Female vocals make this song or even band new vibes, otherwise well I say it made the trick now, maybe they should ask that singer to join?

I totally made that comment before listening to the song for sure. This is one of the most serious-sounding Alestorm songs in a long time, but they still dress like they're going to a gay anime convention or something.

I can live with it with Alestorm. The band that has REALLY jumped the shark for me is Dragonforce. Sure, they've always been cheesy, but they actually had a period right after the singer change where they did some semi-serious albums that sounded really mature. Now everything they do is just geared toward gamers and twitch streamers.
