YES! I so wish I could attend this! I'm not entirely familiar with those five bands, but I love doom metal. I would love to attend Dutch Doom Days someday. By the way, I am currently listening to the song Cascades by The Prophecy. Reading this made me do it. This is a beautiful song. I have heard one song by The Prophecy before this instance.

Great to see some official news on it And The Prophecy will be there too? "Into The Light" is easily one of my most listened to CDs of 2009. The 11th Hour I'm sure I'll enjoy, and from what I hear of Ereb Altor's disc, it sounds great too. Going to have to pick that one up. I really enjoy "Death Bride" and "Rotting Trophy" off the Spiritus Mortis disc, so looking forward to hearing that live!

I don't know much of these five bands, except The Prophecy which I love. I may be there if I can find an affordable way to go up north. I really enjoyed this festival last year, I wouldn't want to miss it

Be sure that around another 10 names will be announced (since it is a 2 day festival). It is clear that none of the 5 mentioned are worthy of headlining imo.
Lemme guess that certain band you're hoping for is The Gates Of Slumber?

It's 900 fucking kilometers from Lyon to Rotterdam. Way too far for me to drive over the week end. I'll come by train or plane (I checked and the cheapest trip would fly me to Düsseldorf and then take the Thalys to Rotterdam)
