Great DSBM band which just released a new album after 15 years. I consider The Insignificance of Life amongst the very best that DSBM has to offer and the new self-titled album does not disappoint. AOTY material. It's a pitty that they were removed from this site.

A pretty good album indeed. The only DSBM album that was worthy in 2021.

I was actually very disappointed with this release because the vocals lost most of the rawness and just felt very lazy most of the time. For me the whole selling point of their debut was thee incredible production that gave it a very hypnotic vibe. I can't say I hear a lot of that on this one. :\

I agree that the production was quite different on the debut which had more dense/atmospheric vibe. The vocals do not stand out but I definitely do not mind them. They even got some pretty good guest vocalists, especially Marco Kehren in Let's Call It a Life is great.
