I'm so happy to open the new Sinergy topic! They have been my favourite band since I discovered metal (with their album Beware the Heavens). Suicide by my Side is one of my all-time favourite metal albums

Anxiously awaiting new album/website/news

I love selected songs from both these albums. Sinergy is a mixed band for me, i like and dislike their material, but they do have some amazing songs, like The Warrior Princess, Written In Stone and Beware The Heavens.

I own to Hell and Back and ithis band's rock !

I'd like to hear some comparisons between their albums. I have "Suicide by my Side" and it didn't leave my CD player for a week when I first bought it... but I think I was addicted to Alexi Laiho's duelling solos with Roope Latvala more than anything else. Are the other CDs worth listening to, or is "Suicide" the peak of the game?

Good band, especially with Roope and Alexi on guitars. I liked Suicide By My Side a lot. My only criticisms of the band is that they don't have too much variation in their music and I'm sure they could produce better lyrics. I'd like to see a step in a different direction for their new album, which I am desperate to hear. Goss is a very stong and unique vocalist.

Suicide is the best IMO but I love all 3 albums. I'd suggest getting either of the others. Beware the Heavens is their first album, it's full of "new band" energy and some amazing songs and duelling guitar solos. The general sound is a bit softer (vocals as well) than on Suicide. Try songs like "The Fourth World" or "The Warrior Princess." To Hell and Back is a bit more aggressive but probably the weakest album by comparison; yet contains some of their best songs. Try songs like "Gallowmere" and "Lead us to War" and "Last Escape"

All 3 albums are amazing but Suicide is probably the strongest so far. I'd say it's a worthy investment to pick up 1 or both of the others. And of course the new one if it EVER comes out

great band...Alexi Laiho, made them eve greter...btw...did any of you listen to the Abba Metal Tribut? Sinergy made a cover after Gimme Gimme Gimme...super cover one of my favourtites

Sinergy is a very good band.
I listen to them quite often and well .. they just kick ass , one of the better bands in the power metal genre.
The album : Suicide by my side is my favourite album , with songs as : Spit on your grave and of course suicide by my side ..

I really like Sinergy. I have Beware the Heavens and Suicide by my Side. SBMS is the better of the two in my opinion but I still love BTH. Hurry up with the new album!

They are great maybe due because Laiho plays with them , and all these guys from other famous bands!

@K7, Yes they were married for about a year I think, but dated for several years before that and are still good friends.

I've never heard of 13 Winters, but if they remind you of Kim then I *must* check them out.

Well personaly I cant play in same band whit my ex gf or wife, marige are bad for musician poet talant, IMO

About Kimberly and 13 Winters vocalits, sorry i cant tell if she are man or women and simmilar lock how Kimberly and about 13 winters gothmetal.net says its Canadinas from that part where speek french but more to ''wildeners'' MA ist USA band and its split up, thay had new live album 2006, but also demo, ep and album

I find them before 3 yeras and I lock at home page videos, now i need 3 hours to dounloud them and its 20mb Its to long, dunno, same mb I need 3-6min

I'm very disappointed to hear the new Sinergy opus has been set back for a '07 release. I was counting on this release being one of the best of '06 seeing as they has been so many let downs this year. I was so certain Sinergy wouldn't disappoint.

Is it for sure that the album has been set back? All I could find about this was the blabbermouth story and the post it talked about BUT.. the post at Scythes of Bodom (http://www.endlesswar.net/SOB/site.php?lang=en) sais "According to Nuclear Blast" and I couldn't find anything in their site

I also like Sinergy, but have to admit, that I first heard of them
when I started listening to Children of Bodom... I'm really interes-
ted in a live club show with Sinergy, but they never play in my home
country...

I'm also waiting that they release the new album.

I agree that there isn't much Varience in Their Sound, But I still have A strong Liking twords them Since it has Alexi and Roope. But I would like to hear something Different from them, Like maby if they added a more Brutal Element to it.....

I've been visiting they're myspace frequently but there are no news about the album The myspace still says that "Sins of the Past" is for 2006

I really miss them, "Suicide by my Side" is a very very great album, actually all of their 3 albums but this one is a masterpiece.

@Bitch Boy. I don't think they have an official myspace, they all seem to be fan-created. I looked at a few and most haven't logged in in months (one hasn't logged in since 2005!). I think the band is just in some weird limbo right now; they're probably still trying to get that damn album made but with everyone touring with other bands I'm sure it's tough.

@ Lyrinan: you're right, I discovered that the myspace that is linked in metal archives ( http://www.myspace.com/sinergymetal ) is only a fan one. Hope the release of the album wouldn't take that much.

I Only have a few tracks, they dont seem to sell any cds over here in england its really gay

I just got 'Suicide By My Side' and I really like, ill definitly be interested in getting this bands entire discography (oooo a whopping 3!) but Kimberlys vocals get tiresome after a while, but she does sort of sound like Doro, she sort of has an 80's sound to her voice...if you people know what I mean.

@Dr. Rock - Getting Sinergy's "entire" discography is a worthy investment! About Kim's vocals: they actually vary from album to album. The Halford-esque vocals really only appear on Suicide By My Side (and some of her guest spots with Warmen). If you get their excellent debut, Beware the Heavens, her vocals are actually much more smooth and feminine by comparison.

Yeah its been an entire weekend and this album just keeps growing on me, too bad Sinergy cds are a rare find in this city. And I know I sound like another stupid Bodom worshipper when I say this, but are there any other songs with both Alexi and Kimberly doing vocals? Because on 'Shadow Island' I really liked how Laiho and Goss' voices contrasted making a really cool song, itd be cool to hear another song like that.

But the entire discography has grown from a want to a must have over these past few days.

Yay! A new fan in the making Being a Sinergy fan is very rewarding but ultimately pretty tough; with the busy schedules of all band members it makes it tough for them to record and tour. Hopefully this year will finally bring us that new album (and a N. American tour!! hey I can dream )

Shadow Island is actually the only song (by Sinergy or anyone) that features both Kim and Alexi on vocals, that I know of that is.

When is Sinergy's next album going to be released? I haven't heard anything about them for months.
