Legendary death metal veterans Dying Fetus are back with their most appropriately titled album to date: Reign Supreme. Not unusually different from their traditional war/gore themes, this time around the title applies more to what the band is doing as opposed to what they want to do.
Listening to this in full now...getting prepped for the show next week. Straight-forward, tight as hell, and slammin', groovin' death metal with great tech death guitar fills at it's most precise. The drums are faster than I ever remember and seem to hit harder. The production is top-notch.
Just got the deluxe album in the mail, I have only listened a few tracks in and so far its really fuckin! brutal. Dying Fetus did not disappoint this fan

Agreed! I've been jamming this album back to back for the last couple days and it's freakin' amazing, I am definitely not disappointed in any way...

Still brushing up on your trolling lessons I see. You'll get there eventually though, don't worry. Probably just in time for another Internet fad to start.

Excellent album, everything runs so smoothly yet the brutality is still there. The band's use of technical styles contributes well to their placement of scything riffs in virtaully every song. 'Invert the Idols' is one hell of a good opener as well.
Love it when I'm driving and listening to this album and the song Dead Whores Love To Fuck starts playing, no one understands it and I start busting up laughing and nearly run the car off the road
My only complaint on this album is that the production feels to clean, too inhuman. I feel like the production on Descend Into Depravity, or let alone Suffocation Effigy of the Forgotten is more hard-hitting, it sounds more Bottom heavy, more human and less perfect.
