Well from what i have read, many "blind fans" seem to hate this so far...

(check "fans-no fans" rating comparison for instance...i know current 12 votes arent too much, but still...)

Im honestly not liking it .... WTF Chris

"Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son" and especially bonus "Les Sucettes" are totally awesome

I really do not know whom that album was written for?...If it's the way of self expression than ok,but it's definitely not for human race creatures. I loved Sirius B and Lemuria very much but that is bull shit.

P.S. The beauty of music is not in making sympho, opera or as many notes per second as you could play but in perfectness of emotion and appropriateness. For example Join Me in death of HIM has four notes, but they are all that's needed. Too many misunderstandings and no music at all

Sorry guys and girls from Therion, but I am not going to waste my time on some cover songs.
If you will make at least average regular full lenght album, then we will be the guys to talk to.

It's an interesting idea but I have no doubt I will have forgotten about this one within a week.

Thought it could be an 8 hearing the first couple of songs, but sadly all the songs sound the same and there is not enough interesting moments on this album , only the female vocals are superb . but it's not horrible ... I really liked it to some level but as above says it's not something you wanna hear twice in 1 day . very forgettable , no replay value .

As far as I know the entire album is all covers of French chansons from the 60s so can't really be considered a proper Therion album

Bad covers of bad songs.

Being French, I know all these pop songs and I can't help but smile while listening to these covers. They sound too... weird to me, maybe they'd sound better to people who don't know the original songs. Except for some riffs, they're also too close to the original ones (like Initials B.B.).

Not really, I recognize a few bits and pieces for some reason but mostly its all unfamiliar to me. Sounds weird, but not the good kind of weird.

Yea, very slow and boring...especially "Je N'ai Besoin Que De Tendresse" is the slowest i ever heard and i am getting bored to death while listening to that and "Les Succettes"...

I'll still give it a listen, but with 'Sitra Ahra' being so superbly average, I don't know what to expect.

well this is a lame cover album imo because Therion stay way too close to the original versions. They didn't try to make the songs their own. But then again 99% of all covers in metal are crap because of precisely that fact.

And tbh the original chansons are already not oo good either. Second to third rate chansons they are.

Wtf? A chanson cover album? From THERION?? The apocalypse is upon us...

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against cover albums (if they are good) but seriously... What is this?!? I think that Chris seriously lost his mind now... and the videos just prove it 100%... I even really like Chris' crazy Carbonized project from the '90s but this album is just stupid and boring, nothing special AT ALL... This shouldn't have been a Therion album... but hell, after Sitra, it makes sense a bit... Therion is dead (for now)...
