How do you feel about Oktoberfest. My wife told me I wouldn't like it too much because its just a dumb, pointless, drunkeness. That doesn't seem to make sense though, haha, but then again, I could just go to this "Black Inn" and drink. Promonex, you ever go to that metal bar in Sachsenhausen?!?! I know there is one, I met Kerry King in that area once, no joke!!

For metalhead maybe it isnt bets place, but try all thos beers and soseages man I read that in Germany are 6000 brieveries and each type of beer are diferent

No seriously, I only know the Hard Rock Café which isn't much of a metal bar and the Spritzehaus which is more of a rock bar for people still living in the 70's. There are some more rock bars out there which I haven't visited yet though, but AFAIK there aren't really any metal bars in Frankfurt.

As for Oktoberfest, I've only been there once as a kid. All I can remember is that it was stupidly expensive. If you just wanna get drunk with others, go to some metal festival, at least you'll have some like-minded people around you. (Eisenwahn, for example, which is in your area and features Endstille among others)

When I find it, I will let you know! Hopefully I have that drunken recall! It was quite some time ago I think, some friends and I were walking around Sachsenhausen. We strolled past this small bar and I heard "Amon Amarth". Went inside, had two shots of Tequila and it just felt so good....the bar...not the Tequila. When I find it I will take a picture and post it so you can see and maybe recognize it!

If you have sat TV turn antena to astra its 19¤E and there platy FTA german channels who show movies in German Sat 1, RTL, RTl2 , ARD das Arste ZDF and so on, abouyt 30 channels

I live in Aachen, but I havn't heard such things. Actually there's a small town nearby ( = Stolberg ) which is known for it's many racists. IMHO our racism policy is the same as it should be everywhere: Live and let live as long as they stay away! They're are absolutly not welcome! Most Nazi demonstrations are cancelled before they're happening. Most security guards won't let them in... etc...

I just moved to Berlin early this month, any good metal places I should check out?

Brutz & Brakel, Rock- und Wikingerbar, Halford and Blackland seem to be the most famous metal bars in Berlin. And K17 for gigs. Haven't been to any of those though.

I aready went to K17, Cassuopia, Lido, and Core Tex. Will check the others thanks. By the way what is the best stores to buy metal shirts?

Well, at least for Wacken - if you don't have a ticket you can forget it; it's been sold out. BUT most festival websites have directions how to get there (public transportation or otherwise) and most also have some sort of forum where you can ask for a "Mitfahrmöglichkeit"
