i understand not appreciating the tone of the album and all, but to call it shit is pretty bold. to say that implies you think you could do better. One Day You Will Cry, Done With Everything Die For Nothing, Banned From Heaven and Roadkill Morning...all great songs. Tie My Rope doesnt even register on the scale above the ones just listed in my opinion

Compared to their old songs, these are all shit. But if you say it's still better than other band's best stuff...maybe you are right.
My point of reference is always the band's best album.

blooddrunk to me is good album but most people are right there old stuff is better

That's sure! they can't do anyithing like that album, once more.

Holy crap, if you look through every page in this thread, pretty much every post is stating the exact same thing just in slightly different phrasing, sometimes the exact phrasing: "CoB will never be as good as the old stuff blah blah blah" while I admit these people are entirely correct, I think its entirely unnecessary for us to state it for about 6.5 solid pages. So for the love of god, would someone please please please post something that hasn't already been stated in like 200 other posts!

gotta give them credit, they're the band that takes themselves least seriously, in all metal history.. i mean (this is from the CoB trivia) Janne admitted that once he drank a whole bottle of Bacardi rum during a show, and that once the security took him off stage because they thought he was just some random idiot playing the keyboards also the whole "alexi and janne are gay!!!" scandal

it sure takes some balls to take yourself that lightly, lol.

Whatever you do, don't drink it! And remember, it's just water from a lake that the band has very little to do with. Though I must admit, I've been thinking about visiting lake Bodom myself, but more because of the place where the murders were committed. Not that there'd e anything to see in that place either.

Thanks for the attentions. I know there's very little connection between COB and the lake. It's good I can say I have been there, nothing more. The same with Walhalla. There's nothing there connecting with Scandinavian mithology but I've been there and it sounds good and enough for me

I still consider Bodom's Something Wild a great album but they've taken the wrong path now.

Ugh, here we go again. If there was an award in the MS awards for most repetitive thread, this one would win hands down.

Their old shit is good but I don't like the new shit.

i 100% agree especially done with everything and one day you will cry those are like the 2 best songs off the album in my opinion

probably should've specified exactly where the keyboards needed to stop but i listened to blooddrunk and they just over did it on the keyboards and really just sickened me. on AYDY they have the perfect combination of everything. they have the same problem with keyboards now though as dragonforce
