Not only does it have one of the fruitiest album covers ever, but the music itself is totally monotonous.

Well i wasnt that disappointed with Inhuman Rampage so i expected some other songs like Through The Fire And The Flames or Operation Ground And Pound and was quite interested...but i didnt get anything like that, or at least i didnt feel so...

I don't find other guys wanking interesting

They really have to try something new on their upcoming album, 'cause this starts to sound redundant...
Or can't Herman Li move his fingers any slower?

Haha, I really never have any expectations when it comes to this band. They're good for a quick listen--just a few songs and that's it. A fun band, but that's about it.

albums at the extremes* - either really good or really fucking horrible are the ones that garner the most comments.


* of course this only matters with "popular" bands. lots of folks, lucas in particular, seem to stumble across and review some awesome shit from obscure folks that still gets compeltely missed.

I thought I'd never give a rating below four... but I realized 'very bad' is a good description of this album. This is the worst album I've heard in my life and I believe it will remain on that position.
(And no, I don't want to give a full listen to Lulu, or Illud, or The Browning, or anything you use to challenge your eardrums)

The only song i kinda enjoy on the entire album was Strike of the Ninja... Why that one ? Because it was the ONLY one that didn't sound exactly like ALL the others.

That is the best song on the album, and it's actually a bonus track, not a regular album track.

It's really fucking cheesy but I still enjoyed it.

I think this is the best album of dragonforce. People who think this is their worst need to get some ears.

People who don't agree with you have ear problems? Seems like an odd conclusion to arrive on.
Also I think all of Dragonforce's albums are their worst.

I have absolutely no idea. I said "all of Dragonforce's albums are their worst", meaning I put them all on the same level, so if he was trying to mock me he failed miserably.
Let's just leave poor Odinson and his evidently dysfunctional brain at peace and not try to make sense of his illogical statements.

As with every Dragonforce album which preceded this one, the opening track is very decent. However, with "Ultra Beatdown" the other 7 songs are just painfully average and the musicianship just gets tiresome too soon. That said, I still enjoyed 'Heroes of our Time'.

The haters in this forum have zero substance to their criticisms. This website is filled with too many people who think they are mature because they consider themselves dark and brooding. I honestly put this album off for a long time because of the hate i saw that it had on this website, which was a big mistake. Many of you need to pull the stick out of your backsides and learn to enjoy some ultra high energy and uplifting music. The song "Reasons to Live" is a very unique song in the Dragonforce discography, and my new found favorite song by them, though i haven't heard the first two albums. There is definitely a lot to digest in this album and if you are easily prone to musically indigestion you will have a hard time getting through the entire album in one sitting. I truly believe Dragonforce is a band that appeals high-spirited and high-energy men in general, based purely off of anecdotal experience. My metal friends that like Dragonforce are highly active and adventurous people and my friends that don't like Dragonforce and power metal in general are devitalized couch potatoes.
