I think it would be great, if ugh, you Dudes knew a little something about Dudeism. It may change your life... I know it changed mine. Here's ugh, a bit of information from the Dudeist website and a video. Dudeism was founded by Oliver Benjamin based off the movie "The Big Lebowski" and ugh, some other kind of eastern thing..

Haha, no... but the Dude has something great going on. If you watched that interview you'd know what I mean. The Dude withstands his struggles and just tries to take it easy. There is some great shit in Big Lebowski, but Dudeism is even more.

Dudeism kind of encompasses the lifestyle that many dream of.

On a second thought though... the movie did make me view my life a bit differently. It didn't answer all my questions though. But hey, what's life worth if something can answer ALL your questions?

Truly one of the most overrated comedies ever. Fun movie for one sitting but that's it. Highly annoying freelodaing main charcter with a just as annoying ex-Vietnam vet buddy.

Good thing this is a thread about Dudeism and not "The Big Lebowski"... but you're still out of your fuckin' element! You're like a child who wonders into the middle of a movie and ugh...

Seeing as how the Big Lebowski is still relatively underground (cult film), only a few fuckin' amateurs dare even call it overrated.

Back to Dudeism...

Well, as a sympathiszer to Discordianism, I can only approve of "dumb parody religion/meme"s. More parodies, more fun.
Plus, to each his own, really. This might sound dumb to you, but I can see the merits in that way of thinking. All of you nay-sayers just don't go past beyond the fact it's called after a movie...
But a 'lay back' way of life existed before, will exist after we're dead, maybe it'll change name a few times in the next decade, but well, let's call it 'dudeism' now. Why not?
