Wish everyone here, a very Happy Deepawali(Diwali). It's the biggest festival of India mainly belongs to Hindu traditionalism as it symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".

It was incepted when Lord Rama returned home(with his wife and his brother) after defeating demonic king Ravana.

I came down with a cold in the middle of my trip to Japan. And now I am losing my mind, trying to entertain myself in Princess Garden Hotel.

So, I just found out that my thesis advisor personally knew a Japanese physicist who directly worked with Richard Feynman. That Japanese physicist is Toichiro Kinoshita, who just died in March 2023 at the age of 98(!). Here is a picture of (a younger) Kinoshita (left) with Feynman (right):

So, I'm connected to Feynman via only two people!
