Ever since I started listening to psychedelic music, be it rock or metal or anything else, I've been completely obsessed with the British/Indian group Shpongle. So I was thinking, if a metalhead like me could like them, then maybe there are a couple other fans around here? I think I can say with certainty that Shpongle is my top one non-rock/metal band and it has been for some time now. Combining a British guy's (Simon Posford) electronic skills with some old Indian guy (Raja Ram) who plays lots of different folk instruments, it feels like the missing link between psychedelic rock, folk and the kind of hypnotic/repetitive music I also enjoy in metal bands such as Oranssi Pazuzu.

Also, it's a blast when you're actually on shrooms (which, admittedly, was quite a long time ago for my part). No other fans here?
