Andy i am from Poland, living in UK for over 20 years. Currently I live on brand new estate and unfortunately only people misbehaving here are Britons, not necessary young though.
Thing what East Europeans are bad at are they still support local 3th tier football team and when that team play aganst enemy at home land big derby they do fight in aganst each other in Sweden, Norway. UK and so on.

Great Nordic landscapes, midnight sun in the summer, autumn leaves are falling, aurora is coming, winter freeze, eternal snow and frozen water, spring awakening when all melts
Our life. All that is in that amazing lyric video

I better die, because I never will learn speek english, so I choose dieing
Well since the album leaked I started listening to it and while I haven't fully gone through it I have to say that it's pretty meh so far, an odd mixture of "Shadows of a dying sun" and "Winter's Gate" and that combination just doesn't work for me. I cannot remember any song I have listened to, none ! :/
Yeah, Insomnium has been one of my favorite melodeath bands for a while, but this album is surprisingly underwhelming. Most of the songs sound like an Omnium Gatherum tribute band trying to find its own voice with little success. Maybe Markus influenced the writing process in a bad way. Pale Morning Star is the standout of the record for me, it's like a "mini Winter's Gate", Heart Like a Grave is a nice ballad, but apart from those it's hard to find memorable moments...

I agree that the album is pretty average just like I wrote earlier but don't call it an Omnium Gatherum copycat as OG is a great band that goes better with every release and doesn't disappoint on stage. Going to see OG on stage once more in 2 weeks indeed and lookging forward to it.

I didn't mean it in a negative way, I like OG as well, but most riffs and melodies on this album remind me more of a typical OG song, rather than Insomnium's previous work.
Very good album. It's not as good as Winter's Gate imo, any way, it's a solid good album. Impressive how Insomnium keeps releasing great albuns over and over again. I can't name many bands that can acomplish the same.
But what a race we have today between two leaders of Melodeach (Insomnium vs InMourning).
Actually I thought I was the only one who noticed OG references, but I guess it's really there. Nevertheless, I find this enjoyable and still one of the best albums this year. But also In Mourning is stronger this time.
I imagined many times before releasing of how would I react, but when the time comes I find myself speechless. Not what "very original" Insomnium but they know what they are doing, and of all changes they made through the time they seem to find the right way. Magic. Or that's just Insomnium.
Not the easiest album for me to digest and that's probably for the better. Wasn't quite feeling it on the first couple spins yesterday, but now a lot of things are starting to click. The brain is funny sometimes.
The album is stellar, best guitarwork they've ever had, Bogren's sound is bliss, everything is crystal clear at last, unlike many I really didn't like Winter's Gate, it was boring, uninspired, not sounding like a single composition, poorly recorded/produced. Here they return to their Shadows days adding the best from WG. Couldn't ask for more.
