Based on the pattern of their releases so far, we can expect the follow-up to Coherence in 2027, offering plenty of time in which to enjoy Be'lakor’s latest beast of a record.

The 2 singles are good songs but not really engaging... I hope the remaining songs of the album are better! :

Really enjoyed the last 2 albums from these guys (especially Of Breath And Bone), so hoping this will be in the same style!

Maybe it will be a grower, but it seems to me their weaker album...
This doesn't mean that it's a bad one!

Better than Stone's Reach but not as good as Of Breath And Bone or Vessels IMO

I think I share this feeling after one listen.

Another great album from these guys. So bleak, great instrumental passages as usual. They have a formula and it works, nothing wrong with that!

Sorry 😅
Equal to them, for my part I have no better album from them, "I never tire of listening to them all" the only negative point is the cover "I don't like" otherwise still a very very good album.
Thanks to be'lakor for their work 😁

Agreed. I haven't been bored by Be'lakor yet so this is a first. No melodic sensibility or groove on this album (almost) at all. Really sad...their fall had to come eventually I guess.

Cool melody. I’m about half way through. Really reminds me of Amon Amarth at times, especially the vocals.

Ok, writing this comment after my 3rd listen. Everyone says that this album is just like the others. I disagree. Melodic punchlines are not prominent in this one, they are smoothed out. Is this a bad thing? It seems that this is done for the sake of flow quality throughout the album. In first listen, lack of melodic dropdowns is really saddening for me. Then, I play the album in the background while doing other stuff and realized the quality of the flow there. I think this album is a grower and quite different from the previous ones. In my opinion, not their best but I can consider Coherence as the second best after Stone's Reach.

Unfortunately I just can't get into this album. Guitar work is largely disappointing, mellower sections are mostly just there, and maybe Much More Was Lost shouldn't have been 12 minutes long if they struggled with transitions that much. It's pretty easy to tell Hidden Window was the first song they wrote.

Just a 7 for now. maybe it will change over time. I think that be'lakor should consider making shorter albums, not strictly 1 hour long. maybe something 40-45 minutes would have made this album better.

One of my absolute favorite bands, up to par with their previous work, easy 9 for me.

I come back to this album and I keep my note.
the more I listen, the more I play the compositions, the more I am a fan.
of course everyone can give their opinion, but when I see notes like 6, 5 or even 4, I ask myself questions. maybe these people do not have a musical ear (they can hear only noise), but I want to say that it is not the album that does not like but rather the group, because in this album there are really all the ingredients of be'lakor "darker I grant you" but everything is there.
it's a very good album that they offer us once again.
I think nobody cares but I wanted to say not to denigrate the performance of this album

Pretty sure that's the case.
I for example can only hear noise on this album.

In love with Sweep of Days and Much More Was Lost. The lyrics for Much More Was Lost touch the heartstrings. love the riffs throughout, as usual

It's alright I think some of the people are overhyping it, not really anything new or original. There are moments of greatness but not huge into the scales they used on this album at times. Didn't draw me in the way their older albums did.

Insomnium does the genre better imo

Fair. I say Be'lakor first. Fractal Gates second. Insomnium third....

Wow, quite impressive. Vocals reminds me of a mix between Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum. First song is intense and epic, will definately continue to listen! Also getting a Opeth - Harvest feeling from Sweep of Days

So many comparisons to Insomnium, and to me the two bands are so different. Even calling Be'lakor melo death is, to me at least, very very on the edge. As for the album, it's good yes, but it's Be'lakor, nothing new or anything. It's a solid 7 that might still grow to an 8.

Everything seems right at the first glance - fine riffs, fine transisions - it works, but there is too much stuffing, that i am not able to see the meat and the lack of direction does not help at all.
Its good, but (at least for me) i see it more as material for background listening than focused listening saddly.

Is it just me or Much More Was Lost finale is reminiscent to Countless Skies in a way?
