Based on the pattern of their releases so far, we can expect the follow-up to Coherence in 2027, offering plenty of time in which to enjoy Be'lakor’s latest beast of a record.

Love the band, whatever they do is high-quality, everything fits together perfectly and they are masters in riff transitions. For example "Valence" is a masterclass in musicianship. Unfortunately I can't give this album more than 8, I find that somehow it has more "filler" material than before.

This one is a grower and it is better than last two albums.

Better than the last album, but it's not that impressive, it's ok.

"Valence" stands out from the rest.

You really have to listen to this release uninterrupted from start to finish to appreciate (or genuinely dislike) the album. In that way it's almost like a Tool album. Also the reviews I'm reading from established metal critics online complaining about the length of the album and of individual songs is kinda laughable. It's like visiting the Taj Majal and complaining about the lack of parking or the long lines. This album has been a total grower for me.

There is a difference.
People did not complain about waiting time for release of the album or delivery of their copy. They complained about the album itself, here its length.

However, I listened to all the albums again.

In my opinion, this is the best metal album of the year.

I believe this is a concept album. I'm fairly certain the lyrics are trying to tell a story, but I can't quite figure out what it is.

This is EXACTLY how I feel. And I love bands like Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum, so I'm confused why I just can't jive with these guys. Oh well.

Something strange has happened to me with this album. I've already heard it like 20 times, I don't know why. I feel that it could improve in many parts, and yet I want to say first the good points of this album: It has the acoustic passages that I have liked the most in Be'lakor. The highest point of the album would be Valence. Now the bad thing about the album: if perhaps lyrically it is coherent, musically it's not. They have become so prog that inertia is greatly lost. Maybe it's the lack of memorable melodies that have been heard on the other albums (except Valence and Sweep of Days). The lowest point on the album is Foothold, in my opinion. I just can't like it. I still think that this album does not deserve less than a 7, but it does not deserve more than that. And also emphasize the length of the album. I still think that something between 40-45 minutes would have improved it.

Unlike the previous albums, it took some time to grow on me, but once it is done, it stayed. Again they proved they are one among the top.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

Not rating it for now but the many times I've tried to get into it, it... bored me a bit. I consider "Of Breath and Bone" my favorite Be'Lakor album followed by "Stone's Reach". I thought "Vessels" was alright, and feel this one continues the same trend.

Not a bad album by any means, but still a lot in lacking to become one of the greats. If more songs were like locus and valence, maybe.

I would say this is a slightly disappointing release but not their worst, it can just be a chore to get through in one sitting. The songwriting is ok but nothing special, there's some meaningful decent lyrics but musically I find it bland at times. Once again I find the drumming to be the best element, the riffs are fairly uninspiring and it somehow lacks the quality build ups, and eventhough it provides some decent melodies the songstructures don't seem to have enough to keep me interested in what I'm listening to.

Some songs are better than others though, "Valence", "Sweep of Days", "Hidden Window" and the closer "Much More Was Lost" are probably the highlights for me, although they are nothing spectacular, but I have to admit I'm hugely disappointed in "Locus", considering it's length and being the opening track I expected much more tbh.
