Another oldies band I di listen a lot is Creedence Clearwater Revival(Whit Dire Straits, Lynyrd Skynyrd, same goes whit Cream, Stepenwolf, The Allman Brothers Band, Steve Miller Band, Jimi Hendrix. The Who and bunch of more but NOT SO OFTEN as CCR, LS and DS))

I like this, it has easy and catchy rock n roll rytm, good song structure, and energy, basically what you need. I like that band

Same goes for John Fogerty even I dont know his solo work so well, but soon I will listen to it.

CCR are one of my favorite bands, so many great albums with such iconic songs for that time. The album Cosmo's Factory is legendary.

Actually they do but its underground for tiny public and not for arenas and CD

I'm sure there's some top quality Southern rock bands out there but I'm going to have to search harder to find them.
