But that is a race to the bottom. And it only serves to make you feel good. I just gave you a real life example of the very high ceiling that is still above you, and you choose to look down to make you feel better.

And you wouldn't even have to do that, if you don't make the country part of your identity.

I don't see where you're getting the "Race to the bottom" from, I'm just pointing out that Canada has things to be proud of compared to other countries. Like not being executed/dumped for being a girl a birth.

If all you do is find examples of places that are "worse" to make yourself feel good, there's no positive outcome, because everything is just about you.
