I guess one is always overly critical when it comes to anticipated things so I am gonna try not to. I have given this 10 spinns or so and obviously the production is very different - gone is the rough "snickerboa" feeling which made them sound totally deranged and unpretentious, theres also an ambient feeling on this album. In relation to that I think the energy I liked so much has gone down, and the sound is a bit less deranged, but still deranged ofc.
Highlights - Trämålningen and Absolut Död, Helige Död. The two latter sounds like great live songs for mentally deranged people that wish upon death as soon as possible, great lyrics.
Overall I think this is an interesting addition to their disc, we will see if it can stand up to the earlier albums....
