Good debut album, very NWOBHM sounding. I love the raw energy throughout the record

I love this thing, I think it's beyond just good. Walpurgis Night is very basic, but somehow they managed to add in a lot of their own enjoyable personality and energy, I remember listening to this album non-stop some years back when I found it. Stormwitch is very underrated and overlooked band, indeed. They've released lots of good stuff.

1984 had some great releases, also the Gates of Purgatory by Running Wild comes to my mind. GoP is a little bit better to my with the songwriting and both of these albums seem to suffer by poor recording conditions, as well as the Walls of Jericho by Helloween.

Now I think both this album and Gates of Purgatory should rate 9 and Walls of Jericho should 8, and also, the Not Fragile debut should be 9.

Gates to Purgatory > Walpurgis Night > Walls of Jericho

Still Ingo & Markus were the best rhythm duo
