THE MUSIC
Cosmic black metal focused at the world through the lens of nihilism. Combining atmospheric and modern black metal styles with a lyrical focus on hopelessness and the futility of man.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Vorga began as an idea in 2016 . The aim, to create modern black metal music that could capture the feelings of cosmic dissonance, frustration, and hopelessness – the calling void that stares back in between the stars.
With members from the UK, Bulgaria, and Germany the group recorded their first EP – Radiant Gloom in 2018. It was released in February 2019 and well-received. Soon after, a deal was signed with Transcending Obscurity Records.
RECEPTION
Our arrival onto the stage has been greeted with higher praise than we could have imagined. We’ve been featured by many websites and magazines including Deaf Forever and Legacy Magazine. We continue to work hard to push ourselves onto the international stage to bring our message of cosmic nihilism to the masses.
THE FUTURE
We are releasing a new record ‘Striving Toward Oblivion’ in 2020. Work is already underway on our next record and we continue to improve our live perfomances both sonically and visually. We pride ourselves on bringing a unique atmosphere to our live shows and continue to make this a priority for every single show we perform.
