Ohhhhh sheeeiiiiittt!! It's that time already? I still have to add like 60 albums to last years list and probably move a few around. I still have like 100 albums on a list I plan on listening to as well. Closing in on 300 albums from last year, but not even close to your colossal list haha. I tend to do complete discographies throughout the year too. Often bands with new albums. Only albums I'll most likely checkout this month are Knoll, Resin Tomb, Lord Dying, Master, Dipygus, Blood Red Throne, Exocrine, Vitriol, Caligula's Horse and Inquisition. If I hear good things about anything I'll listen to next month when I simmer down on listening to last years releases.

I've been dedicating every bit of free time I've had so far for listening to whatever latest release comes my way. I'm just hoping that discovering and listening to the latest releases remains enjoyable, as at the moment it's becoming a borderline obsession, just as long as it doesn't become a chore and I'm able to have enough free time I'll carry on listening and adding to this list as the year goes on

Thanks and it's very true, there's still a huge amount of albums from previous years yet for me to discover, so I'm sure I'll pick up on a few oldies aswel as new one's as well.

Thanks and it's very true, there's still a huge amount of albums from previous years yet for me to discover, so I'm sure I'll pick up on a few oldies aswel as new one's as well.

I don't know how you've managed this many already, mate. Only album I've been interested in so far has been Cancer Christ. Your ratings suggests I maybe made the right decision haha. But there's definitely a couple here that intrigue me. There's some albums out tonight I'm looking forward to. Master, Saxon, Resin Tomb, Vemod, Lord Dying I have my eye on this weekend. Dipygus is out on the 22nd too. So things are about to start getting interesting. Much slower start to this year, than it was the last 2 years. Some of faves were released in the first 2 weeks of 2022 and 2023.

I've certainly been taking a lot in over these last few weeks, but so far Hauntologist is the one album which stands out and has been on a regular spin since release date. Narzissus and Ryujin have somewhat impressed me also. There's a lot I'm looking forward to coming up.

I'll definitely be checking out those 3, Magnum and Engulf. Ryujin had me at Japanese extreme power metal. Japan has some awesome extreme metal and I always want more extreme power metal in my life. I'm not a huge power metal fan, I'm very picky with it. But I always want more extreme power metal.
