Hell yes! Olympiakos made it to the Conference League final against Fiorentina. Football got interesting for the first time in forever. Let's bring the title home to Greece!
It's crazy how much nonsense I've heard for people who don't truly understand the offside rule (but then again, it's a pretty complex set of rules on paper).
@ Cynic, if you're talking about the 2nd goal, then you're very, very wrong. They were robbed only on that late offside which actually wasn't, and that's that.
Bayern was robbed? I think so. If not for goal line tech, it was a clear offside. If you have seen closely, it was a minor whisky to the last defender passing and that is why goal was allowed.
Damn, these guys are giving Judicator a strong run for their money in terms of how heavily inspired you can be by Blind Guardian, there's parts on the opening track that probably breach copyright it's so obviously ripped off. Still, it's enjoyable due to BG being such a fantastic band

It's the other way around, Persuader is much older and more accomplished than Judicator.

They might be a lot older than Judicator, but they're quite a lot younger than Blind Guardian, and they're the band that I was mentioning there being extreme similarities to on The Curse Unbound
It comes mostly from Carlsson's vocals which sound similar to Hansi 25 years ago. Check out Savage Circus and Dark Empire as well.
The vocals clearly play a part in it (not just the tone, but also the harmonizations and the vocal melodies he chooses), but I think a lot of the instrumental work is heavily reminiscent of 90s BG; I'm just relistening to it now to check myself, and the chorus that starts a couple of minutes into The Curse Unbound even has the same drum patterns as BG would use, between the bass drum rolls and the snare accents in the 'far from home' vocal part. Also, the guitar lead at ~3:25 is so similar to parts from SFB/IFTOS, particularly due to the tone and it being combined with those vocals and lyrics - those moments cross over from being 'similar to Blind Guardian' to 'replicating BG' for me
If Blind Guardian today would sound like this? Maybe most underated PM of this year, because this is PM, fast as speed metal, but still PM. Killer one, heasvy blasting songs, good vocals, good forward leading sound whit solid lyrics. This kills, maybe best PM album in this year, maybe best PM album from Swedish band ever?

I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens.

I better die, because I never will learn speek english, so I choose dieing
The fact that I don't enjoy this band that much is because they sound like Blind Guardian. I don't enjoy BG that much as well and dare I say, they are overrated.
I hate the vocals. Did not find much interest. Maybe I am not a fan of PM
To be honest the vocal work on this particular record from them spends too much time in falsetto in my opinion. I still enjoy the vocals but they used to be quite a bit lower on average on When Eden Burns for instance.

I've had a change of heart for this album. I am really digging it and I am really immersed in the dark feeling and down tuned riffing mixed with aggressive power metal vocals. Will need to go back to their previous albums, I remember I was a little disappointed when I heard them. So far this is my favorite piece of music they've put out.
