Obviously there are exceptions. And some countries, including Germany, are trying to snipe highly educated immigrants, which would of course earn decent wages. But not everybody falls into that category.
Usually people from other countries will have a tougher time on the domestic job market, and there's a good chance your real spending power is less than it was before.
The question should rather be where to go to today. Yes, the purchasing power in Sweden is more than double that of Romania, but that's based on gross national income per capita.

Kanonenfieber's Menschenmühle was recommended to me by the German minesweeper of Metal Storm. Only the mines he is sweeping are fantastic albums of the underground that he brings to the attention of quality extreme metal-hungry metalheads like those of you reading this review.
Stumbled upon this a few days ago as I have a soft spot for WWI themed black/death metal (1914, Minenfeld, Minenwerfer) and I am still spinning this at least twice a day. Awesome blend of death and black with a healthy dosage of doom, a pinch of post-rock, tasty riffs, delicious samples and an unexpected but very welcome acoustic surprise at the end.
This ticks all the right boxes. Great from start to finish.
Maybe because as a German band you can get away with making WWI-themed music, but add an extra "I" to that and things get out of hand.
I think the WWI (and even WWII) theme is cool, but I've already started to see a dozen or so bands using this theme playing black/death metal... It's going to get old fast at this rate.

Need me some Vietnam War black/death.
Or some Taiping Rebellion stuff.

A really fresh and solid Black/Death-Metal-Album !!
It reminds to Quorton and Bathory...
Grabenkampf, Ins Niemandsland and Unterstandsangst are my favorite Songs but this Album has no weakness.
I love It ! 10/10
This is a good album, very powerful and heavy. I always imagine a feeling of great emotional sadness from bands like this and 1914, when they make albums that are World War themed, they do it so well. The sound and production is pretty much spot on, the style is very much like that of Mgła, with a slight death metal influence.
The cover art is taken from an anti-war propaganda poster by the Social Democratic Party of Hungary from around 1918 by Mihaly Biro.
I've heard a bit about Biro; apparently he's one of the originators of the whole war propaganda poster style.
Here's the full piece:
Translation: "The working people of Budapest will be holding a demonstration and a popular assembly against the horrors of war in the Tattersall* on Sunday afternoon. Every worker must raise voice against the massacre. By the Social Democratic Party of Hungary."
