Being proud to be Canadian doesn't mean I don't think life in Canada can't improve.

You are falling for a convenient political narrative that removes the stories of people who actually need that improvement.

But don't you see how you're proving my point against everything that was claimed here? Your national pride actually prevents improving life for your community.

But that is a race to the bottom. And it only serves to make you feel good. I just gave you a real life example of the very high ceiling that is still above you, and you choose to look down to make you feel better.

And you wouldn't even have to do that, if you don't make the country part of your identity.
