I think one the big issues in the past 10 years actually is that the left refused to discuss the immigration topic. Because I would sure not say there's no issue there at all.

Well there's nationalist as in valuing culture, history, borders, and society, while showing the same respect for every other nation, and then there's "hurr durr I'm superior to all"

Friction arises when people incapable of adapting to the host arrive... and expect things as they were elsewhere. Immigration is a two way street.

Nothing wrong with being nationalist. You have an identity, an ethos, it works for you. If someone alien enters, adhere. Easy as. I've done this in multiple countries as a resident, Anoter 48 as a tourist.
